Privacy Policy

DealCheck is a supermarket price-comparison tool built with privacy as a priority: no account, no login, and the prices, lists, and history you enter stay on your device. We do not collect personal identity data. We do use a small number of third-party services — analytics, ads, and purchase processing — described below.

1. What We Do NOT Collect

We never collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, or precise location. There are no user accounts and no login.

2. Data Stored On Your Device

The following stays only on your device (browser local storage on the web; on-device storage in our mobile apps) and is never sent to a DealCheck server:

• Your recent price comparisons, shopping lists, and price history (the product names, prices, and quantities you enter)
• Your app preferences (e.g. font size, language)

You can delete this anytime by tapping "Clear all" in the History panel, or by clearing the app/site data.

3. Analytics (Google Analytics / GA4)

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand anonymous, aggregated usage — such as which features are used and how often — so we can improve the product. This includes app-interaction events and an anonymous identifier. It is not linked to your identity and is not used to track you across other apps or websites. See Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising (Google AdMob & AdSense)

The free version is supported by ads: our mobile apps use Google AdMob and our website uses Google AdSense. These services may access your device's advertising identifier and use cookies to serve non-personalized ads.

• Reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
• Opt out of personalized advertising at google.com/settings/ads. Google's ad policies: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

5. Purchases (RevenueCat)

If you buy the optional ad-free upgrade, purchase validation is handled by RevenueCat together with the app store (Google Play / Apple). RevenueCat processes an anonymous app-user ID and your purchase history to unlock and restore your purchase across your devices. We never receive your name or payment card details. 6. Data Security & Retention

All data sent to the services above is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). On-device data stays until you delete it. We do not sell your data.

7. Children's Use

DealCheck is a shopping utility intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, the changes will appear on this page with a new "Last updated" date. We recommend checking back periodically.
